Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in what is expected to be a riveting contest. CSK finally returned to winning ways, and they did so in as comprehensive a manner as possible. They demolished KXIP by 10 wickets, chasing 179. While their bowling may still seem to be of slight concern, they will be delighted with the return of form of Shane Watson and the fact that they were able to break their 3-match losing streak in such grand fashion.

KKR on the other hand, are coming off a loss to Delhi Capitals. They have played well, and seem to have an exciting team, but have not had their star players fire the way they would have liked. Nevertheless, they have a very potent and capable line up, having the perfect blend of youth and experience and will surely look to make a solid comeback in this game.

Here are 3 players you can opt as multipliers for your KKR vs CSK Dream11 team:

1.Faf du Plessis (9.5 credits)

Faf du Plessis has been in phenomenal touch this year. He has scored 282 runs in 5 innings this year, at an average of 94, strike rate of 150 and three 50s. He has been in sublime form and with him now opening the innings, he has the opportunity to take full advantage of the powerplay. He has looked good against spin and pace alike and you can bank on him to continue his marvellous run.

2.Shubman Gill (9 credits)

One of the most talented youngsters around, Shubman Gill has already impressed a number of people. He has scored 152 runs in 4 games and has looked unflustered and very calm at the crease. He missed out in the last game against DC and will be looking to make up for it. Gill has never been dismissed by left arm spin in IPL and has an average of 44 against wrist spin. Hence, he will be able to negate the spin challenge of CSK. If he gets through the initial spell of the medium pacers, Gill could definitely be scoring a big one.

3.Pat Cummins (9 credits)

Pat Cummins is a left field choice, mainly based on a hunch. He has had an ordinary start to the IPL and has picked just 2 wickets in 4 games. However, he has bowled with good pace and has been unlucky to not pick up more wickets. He is up against a CSK side, which though experienced, has declined with regards to reflexes. His pace is likely to trouble the likes of Watson and MS Dhoni who haven’t been able to put away quality pacers in recent times. Hence, while this pick isn’t based on numbers, he could turn out to be a dark horse.
