With both teams studded with T20 stars, fans had high expectations from the opening clash. Unfortunately, the game got washed out due to rain. As per initial plans, the game was shortened to a nine-over per–side affair. The toss landed in Pakistan’s favour and they opted to bowl in Barbados.

As mentioned above, Kieron Pollard came to West Indies’ rescue in the last game. Coming to bat at number six, the Caribbean dasher went after the bowlers from the outset and played some fine shots. He, in total, scored 22 runs off mere nine balls and remained unbeaten till the end. Pollard will certainly not mind replicating his heroics again.
Babar Azam
Pollard’s counterpart Babar Azam is another player to watch out for in this contest. Although Azam couldn’t bat in the first game, one can expect him to shine in the second T20I. After all, he played some sensational knocks in Pakistan’s last tour of England. Hence, West Indies bowlers must come up with a solid plan against him.
