Match Details

The 19th match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 will be played between Pakistan and Thailand at the Sydney Showground Stadium in Sydney.

The match will start at 3 PM local time (9.30 AM IST) (4 AM GMT). This match will be live on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD. Live streaming will be available on Hotstar.

Preview for Dream11 Fantasy

Pakistan and Thailand both have been knocked out of the World Cup already and this is merely a dead rubber. However, both the teams would be looking to end the tournament on a high. Having said that, Pakistan are the clear favourites given the fact that Thailand Women are too new to this level and must have got an idea now and will be keen to put up an improved performance before bowling out of the competition.

The Javeria Khan-led side, however, would be disappointed to be knocked out after starting their campaign with a win over 2016 champions West Indies. But they went down against England and South Africa. Their regular skipper Bismah Maroof getting ruled out of the tournament didn’t help either.

Weather Report

The forecast is not encouraging for this game. There is more than 50% chance of rain at 3 PM local time and the showers are expected to come down consistently for the rest of the day. The match will either be shortened or it may get washed out too.

Pitch Report

Win the toss and bat first has been the template in the three matches at the Showground stadium. The spinners play a crucial role at the venue and the pitch gets slower and slower as the game progresses.

Average first innings score: 137 (In three matches played at the venue in this World Cup)

Record of the chasing teams: Won – 0; Lost – 3
