Sunrisers Hyderabad has changed their lineup so much in this IPL, that it is difficult to pick their players in the fantasy team. However, by now, the way they have changed their team in this tournament, it seems their XIs can be predicted.
On the other hand, Delhi has many players performing well for them in this tournament. In a situation like this, knowing whom not to pick can be more helpful for you to get better results than knowing whom to pick.
Here are the three players you should avoid in your fantasy team for the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals:
1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, in this tournament so far, hasn’t looked like the bowler he is. He bowled a few expensive spells in the first few matches. However, he did make a good comeback in the previous match but had to leave the ground due to a niggle.
Having said that, it could be an injury that has brought his form down. On top of that, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s record against some of the Delhi batsmen isn’t as great. Rishabh Pant in fact had smashed him once all over the park in Delhi.
2. Steve Smith
Steve Smith, at no.3, has been given a specific role. Shreyas Iyer was playing the same role in the previous season. However, his injury has allowed Smith to get into this line-up and replicate his role of an anchor.
The problem with this that he does play a lot of balls, but ends up scoring a lot lesser runs. Having said that, he has also struggled against the slow nature of the Chennai pitch. He might even struggle against Rashid Khan.
3. Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin is undoubtedly one of the most important players of this Delhi setup. His overs are quite crucial to the team as he keeps his economy down no matter what. However, he doesn’t take a lot of wickets.
Since IPL 2020, when he arrived in the Delhi line-up, his job has been a little different. With strike bowlers around, he has been tasked to only keep the pressure on the batsmen. Hence, it is better to avoid R Ashwin in this match at least.
