They defeated host New Zealand in the previous match by a huge margin of 141 runs after scoring 269 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs.
West Indies, on the other hand, won their first two games against New Zealand and England. But, they fell short against India in the previous match after Indian batters posted a humongous total of 317 runs in 50 overs.
