After the massive success of the Emirates D20 Tournament which was held in December last year, Emirates Cricket Board is organizing D10 Tournament, which is starting from March 24th. This time, Sharjah Cricket Stadium will be hosting all the matches. Emirates Blues, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman, and Abu Dhabi are the six teams participating in this tournament.
The inaugural match of the Emirates D10 2021 will be played between Emirates Blues and Dubai on Wednesday. Having lost in the semi-finals of Emirate D20, Emirates Blues settled for third place after defeating Dubai in the 3rd-Place Play-off by 5 wickets. Some of the main players are missing from the previous tournament, which might have an impact on their performance.
Meanwhile, Dubai too had a good D20 tournament. They reached the semi-finals where they lost to Fujairah by 16 runs. Both the teams have got some serious talents at their disposal and it will be interesting how they perform in this format.
