Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore have shared a good rivalry in the last few years as the two teams have produced some really good games of cricket. The two line-ups are just star-studded with players who can be termed as match-winners and can help their team to a win from a situation of defeat. Given these situations, the fans do have a great opportunity to get some fantasy points. But, knowing whom to pick and whom not to pick is essential.
Here are 3 players to avoid from fantasy teams for the RCB vs MI game:
1. Srikar Bharat
The right-handed batter seems to have found a way to become RCB’s regular choice of wicketkeeper, relieving AB de Villiers from the role. Even though he has been brought into the side as a wicketkeeper batter, it does seem that his batting isn’t rated quite highly.
To think that he would stand out in a middle-order with AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell was hard enough to believe already, but from what RCB has done in the last two matches it seems he will bat at no. 3 if they lose an early wicket and if they don’t he might not get to bat, something which happened in the previous match.
2. Saurabh Tiwary
The left-handed batter has a lot of experience and is a fine player, but he does seem to be reduced to just a substitute player who has come in place of Hardik Pandya. The Mumbai Indians are unlikely to revolve their batting around him and ideally, he should be batting at no. 3 to get proper results out of him. As he is not getting that at this moment, it would be a better decision to drop from your fantasy team.
3. Ishan Kishan
The left-handed middle-order batter is an excellent player and has been impressive over the last few months. However, in this season of the IPL, his form has significantly dropped and he hasn’t been able to find respite so far. This could be a long and tough season for him and it doesn’t help the fact that he is more suited to batting in the top order, but has been picked for the middle order role more often than not.
