Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans will play the 35th match of IPL 2022 on Saturday at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. KKR have lost 4 out of 7 matches in the tournament and have slipped to the 7th position in the points tally. They have lost the last 3 matches and would be looking to make a comeback. However, there are plenty of issues with KKR’s batting as well as bowling lineup and players will have to deliver their best in order to have a chance in this match.

Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, are placed in the second position in the points tally with 5 wins in 6 matches. They have assembled a nearly perfect squad and would be looking to continue their winning momentum. GT defeated Chennai Super Kings in their previous match by 3 wickets. They are most likely to have the services of Hardik Pandya, who missed the last game.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your fantasy teams for the KKR vs GT game:

1. Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana has scored a half-century in the tournament against Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, he has not been able to justify his price tag as well as his place in the playing 11. In the last game against Rajasthan Royals, KKR was chasing a target of 218 runs. Rana came out to bat in the 9th over after Aaron Finch was dismissed. Rana added 41 runs for the 3rd wicket along with Shreyas Iyer. He played an unnecessary shot on the last delivery of the 13th over despite scoring 14 runs from the over. Rana was dismissed for 18 runs off 19 deliveries.

2. Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer has been dismissed for a single-digit score in the last 2 matches. He has been able to score over 20 runs only once which happened against Mumbai Indians. Venkatesh has made 109 runs in 7 matches and has not picked a wicket in the tournament. He is struggling to time the ball and play the way he played during the UAE leg of last season. You can avoid him in your fantasy team for this match.

3. Vijay Shankar

In 4 matches, Vijay Shankar has made 19 runs in 4 matches and has made a double-digit score only once. Vijay is clearly out of form and has not been able to perform the tasks that the GT team management have assigned to him. Despite all of this, the management have given chance to Vijay to prove his worth. You can avoid him in your fantasy team and pick some other in-form batters.
