Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will play the 37th match of IPL 2022 on Sunday. Mumbai have had their worst IPL start, being the only team to start an IPL season with seven successive losses, and are virtually out of the contention for playoffs. Lucknow with 4 wins in 7 matches, LSG are placed in the fourth position in the points tally and have lost 2 of their previous 3 matches. When the last time these sides met Lucknow won the match comfortably on the back of a wonderful century by KL Rahul. This promises to be an exciting match.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your fantasy teams for the LSG vs MI game:

1. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey has struggled throughout the season and was also dropped for a couple of matches in between before returning to the side. In 5 matches so far this season he has scored 66 runs at an average of 13 and a strike rate of 113. It is better to avoid him for this match and look at other options.

2. Riley Meredith

He made his debut for Mumbai in the previous match and bowled really well picking up a wicket and going for just 25 runs. Although he will be up against a team that has a strong top order and given that he is not bowling in the death overs it is difficult for him to get many wickets. Coupled with the fact that there are many other better options in the bowling section it makes it easier to leave him out for this game and pick other players.

3. Ayush Badoni

He scored a half century in the opening match of the season but apart from that he has not got many chances to bat for long periods of time. He has scored 120 runs in 7 matches at an average of 30. Given a solid top order and his batting position it is difficult to predict if he can get enough balls to create an impact from a fantasy point of view. Hence ignore him for this match.
