They open their campaign in this tournament on Friday. HKSZ Stars were defeated in the Plate Quarterfinals of the T20 edition of the tournament, after finishing third in Pool C. On the other hand, Machos CC are new entrants into the competition, as they were not part of the T20 league. Each team plays three pool stage games, and the top two teams move into the quarterfinals, whereas, the other teams move into the Plate division.
