Match Details:

The 6th warm-up match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 will be played between Australia Women and South Africa Women at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide in South Australia.

The match starts at 10:30 AM local time (5:30 AM IST) (12:00 AM GMT).

Preview:

Australia Women will look to utilise the last opportunity to get fully geared up for the T20 World Cup that is scheduled to begin from February 21. Their first practice match got abandoned due to rain but they will look to utilise this chance to the fullest to fill the voids in their side. In batting, Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner will try to score runs so that they can go in the mega event with much-needed confidence. On the other hand, their bowling will look to find the grooves that will help them in getting off the mark with full flow.

South Africa Women looked to regain form in the previous game against Sri Lanka Women as the former outclassed the latter with sheer dominance. However, their top order was exposed, who once again failed to score runs for their team. In the last warm-up game ahead of the mega event, all their out of form batters will look to get in touch whereas bowlers still did an impressive job in the previous game, who successfully restricted the opponents from chasing down the target. Sune Luus took an amazing 4-wicket haul for their side. And her form is one of the biggest positives for South Africa Women going into the mega event.

It is difficult ground for the chasing side but not impossible. A total around 150 could turn out to be a par score at the venue.
