Match Details:

The third and last T20I of the three-match Twenty20 International series between South Africa and England will be played at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

The match starts at 02:30 PM local time (12:30 PM GMT) (06:00 PM IST). This match will be live on Sony SIX and Sony SIX HD. Live Streaming will be available on Sony LIV.

Preview for Dream11 Fantasy

A classic T20 thriller was followed by another thriller in the second match in Durban. South Africa won the first match by just one run while England beat the hosts by two runs in the second game. With series on the line, another nail-biting finish might be on the cards on Sunday.

England are missing the services of their ace pacer Jofra Archer whereas the hosts don’t have Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir in their squad. It will be a great positive for the Proteas if they win a series against almost a full-strength England without their (South Africa’s) three main players. South Africa should look to strengthen their middle-order, particularly lower middle-order. David Miller isn’t in the best phase of his career. And, how much they are confident of Andile Phehlukwayo and Dwaine Pretorius doing the finishing job consistently, is a big question.

England’s bowling attack should be a concern for the English team management. Tom Curran, despite defending 15 runs off the last over in the previous match, hasn’t inspired a lot of confidence. Mark Wood has also been expensive. England should look him to use an enforcer in the middle-overs and should avoid bowling him in the death overs. Also, for how long they would persist with Joe Denly in the shortest format, is a thing to watch out for. Dawid Malan who was their best batsman in their previous series will be hoping to get an opportunity.

Weather Condition/Report

The temperature is expected to hover around 24-28 degree Celsius during the match time in SuperSport Park. The weather will be sunny and no rainfall is expected during the course of the game. The wind is also expected to be very light during the game time.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The pitch at SuperSport Park in Centurion is generally good for batting. The deck also has good bounce and provides some assistance to the bowlers as well. Expect the team winning the toss to field first despite the fact that the chasing team has lost the last two matches in the series.

Average first innings score: 173

Record of chasing teams: Matches – 9, Won – 6, Lost – 3

Top Picks:

South Africa:

Quinton de Kock is in the form of his life and shown incredible consistency in recent times. The additional responsibility to lead the side seems to have increased his hunger to score runs for his side. The wicketkeeper-batsman is the most selected player in Dream11 for this match and is the most popular captaincy pick as well. Rassie van der Dussen looked in good touch in the last game and scored 43 runs off 26 balls. The right-handed batsman has a good record at the match venue as well. Thus, Dussen is also a top pick for this match.

Lungi Ngidi is the leading wicket-taker in this series so far despite conceding runs at a poor economy of close to ten. The right-arm pacer is the most selected bowler and a reliable candidate to bank on. Tabraiz Shamsi has picked up just one wicket in two matches, however, his economy (6.88) is the best among all the bowlers who have bowled at least four overs in this series. Thus, the chinaman bowler could be the differential for you in Dream11.

England

Having a sublime average of 55 with a strike rate of over 164, the opening batsman Jason Roy is the top-scorer in this series so far. His selection percentage is more than 90 now and it would be risky to not pick him in you fantasy side for small-leagues. However, dropping him in the teams for grand leagues is a worthy risk. Roy’s partner Jos Buttler hasn’t fired so far, however, he is one of the best T20 batsmen currently. We recommend you to stick with the wicketkeeper-batsman despite his selection percentage is less than 20.

Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali have been decent in the series so far and are among popular picks. Chris Jordan has held the fort for the visitors and has delivered the goods in the death overs. The right-arm pacer is a good option to bank on.

All-Rounders- Ben Stokes, Andile Phehlukwayo

Bowlers- Adil Rashid, Lungi Ngidi, Beuran Hendricks

Suggested Playing XI No.2 for Fantasy Cricket:

Keeper – Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler(C), Quinton de Kock

All-Rounders- Moeen Ali, Andile Phehlukwayo

Bowlers- Chris Jordan, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi

Expert Advice

This series has not been very great for bowlers. No bowler who has bowled at least four overs has an economy of less than eight, except for Tabraiz Shamsi. Six bowlers have conceded runs at an economy of more than nine, including four bowlers leaking runs more than 10 runs per over.

Since 2017, the SuperSport park has been a high scoring venue. In eight innings since then, the scoring run rate has been more than nine five times, including three innings in which the run rate has been more than 10.

Thus, we suggest you — pack your fantasy side with more batsmen and three quality bowlers.

Probable Winners:

England are expected to win the match and clinch the series.
