Preview for Dream11 Fantasy
After having suffered a humbling 17-run-defeat at the hands of India in the tournament-opener, the defending champions and hosts of the ongoing edition- Australia- kept their hopes of making it to the semi-finals alive after they successfully chased down 6/122, set by the Sri Lankans.
But, it did not happen without Sri Lanka giving the hosts a mighty scare after Prabodhani [2-17] and Siriwardene [2-20] wrecked their top-order to reduce them to 2-10. Ultimately, it took a calm-and-collected 95-run-stand between skipper Meg Lanning [41*] and Rachael Haynes, who racked up a whirlwind 47-ball 60.
After having lost the opening match to India, Australia can’t afford another blip if they ate to keep their chances of making it to the top-4 in their own hands and the Lanning-led unit will hope for a commanding performance against Bangladesh, who too are coming off an 18-run-defeat at the hands of India in the last game after they failed to chase down 6/142, set by the Women in Blue.

Pitch Condition/Report
The pitch at the Manuka Oval has always been a good one to bat on. And, we saw that in the last game played at the venue when Heather Knight scored a whirlwind hundred against Thailand to lead England to 2/176 in 20 overs. That said, the bowlers too had something to work with as Nat Sciver and Anya Shrubsole took five wickets between them, meaning we could be in for a fair contest between bat and ball.
Average first innings score: 150 (In the two games played at this venue)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 1, Lost – 1

Top Picks
Australia Women- Rachael Haynes [60 off 47 balls] and skipper Meg Lanning [41] were the spearheads in Australia’s successful run-chase against Sri Lanka, while Ashleigh Gardener and Alyssa Healy too chipped in with half-centuries against India.
Ellyse Perry hasn’t yet got going in the tournament but she is too good a player to miss out that often. She could turn out to be the X-factor. As far as bowling is concerned, the likes of Meghan Schutt [1-15], Molly Strano [2-23] and Jess Jonassen [1-23] will be the key.
Bangladesh Women: In the last game against India, the likes of Murshida Khatun [30], Nigar Sultana [35] and Fahima Khatun got off to starts but could not convert them into an innings of substance; something the team-management will hope, isn’t the case against Australia. We have seen how Australia has struggled against the spinners in this tournament. Hence, the likes of Salma Khatun [2-25], Rumana Ahmed and Nahida Akter will be key. Panna Ghosh [2-25] will lead the fast bowling unit.
As far as bowling is concerned, Anam Amin- 13 wickets at 16.07- is the leading wicket-taker for her side since the last T20 WC. She, along with Daina Baig [5 wickets at 29.4] and Aiman Anwer, who claimed 2-12 in the warm-up game against Bangladesh will be the key.

Expert Advice
Ellyse Perry has not got going in the tournament thus far. Expect her to show her worth in the upcoming matches. Since she doubles up as a brilliant batswoman and an equally brilliant bowler, picking her as captain/vice-captain could reap you great rewards.
